Math Magic
We are offering two 8-week game-based math learning programs for homeschoolers winter of 2026, beginning January 26th.
Addition and Subtraction of Numbers up to 20, Monday 9:30am-10:15am, (1st-2nd grade, or participants of our fall 2025 Simple Addition and Subtraction program ) Click HERE to register
Intro to Multiplication and Division, Monday 10:30-11:15am (3rd-5th grade, or participants of our fall 2025 Advance Addition and Subtraction program).
The "A & S of numbers up to 20” program will help participants to be ready for operation with multi-digit numbers by focusing on understanding the concept of place value and becoming fluent in adding and subtracting numbers within 20.
The “Intro to Multiplication and Division” program focuses on bridging addition & subtraction and multiplication & division. It will first help participants to be fluent with adding and subtraction multi-digit numbers (an essential skill before diving into multiplication), and then introduce participants to multiplication and division.
This is part of our effort to extend our classes to more advanced math topics. We are hoping that with the participants of these two programs, we can offer “advance addition & subtraction (of multi-digit numbers)” and “advance multiplication and division” fall of 2026, then “Intro to multiplication” and “Intro to fraction” winter of 2027, etc.
Registration is required. The program is free, but because the teaching of each lesson is built upon knowledge learned from previous lessons, we do kindly request participants commit to attending all 8 weekly sessions. These are drop off classes, but parents are welcome to stay or to work on schoolwork with siblings in another area/room nearby. This program will be led by Crystal Feil. Limited space of up to 16 participants. For more details on the program, please visit https://mathmagic.carrd.co/ or contact Crystal at yingyingfeil@gmail.com

All children are welcome to join us at 9:30 am for a fun and free class to sing and dance. All ages and stages welcome, including babies! Please feel free to invite friends and guests to join in, as well. All children will need to be accompanied by an adult (mom, dad, grandparent, babysitter) who will stay in class with them for the full 30 minutes. We encourage participation from children and adults alike! At the end of class, we will invite everyone to stay for a snack and time to visit. Registration is not required, but if you are willing, please register and share your contact information in case we need to send any updates.
